Personal Project - Illustration & Pattern Design
This collection was created as part of my Masters degree in Design & Illustration.
The main illustration was hand drawn as one flat illustration using pencil and ink, finished off with hand gilded gold leaf touches.
In recent years I have experimented with adding colour digitally to the piece.
Complementary Pattern Designs
I decided to add in a set of pattern designs, to complement the illustration.
Sticking with the natural, bohemian theme I was drawn in with feathery details and zentangle mandala patterns.
The elements from each were hand drawn in my sketchbook and layered on top of a hand painted watercolour piece in earth and blush tones.
